steve bug @ detroit - motor city live - book tower, 2nd floor

after a very nice warmup in the basement-studio of ipmradio.com (thanks guys!) i drove downtown d-city...

yes ladies and gentlemen, it happened: i have been to THE party in detroit city. the party i have been dreaming/praying/hoping for since early january 2006. this was it: steve bug. all night. finest selection of tunes. fantastic sound system. bass made your eyes vibrate so u couldn't focus. earthquake-like. location: book tower, 2nd floor. presented by paxahau. entrance fee: 20$ - well, sometimes a 303 has to do what a 303 has to do, right?

after several "zugaben" with lights on and people crying out for more, i finally left. out on the streets of detroit at 5 in the morning, trying to get to your car, is a bit scary...

my ears have been severely cleaned out.

the best part was driving back via i-75, 676-west and then woodward: ellen's & apparat's "orchestra of bubbles" really is something else - especially cruising home from a great night out on woodward avenue with all traffic lights turning green as you approch with 45 mph.

gute nacht und guten morgen!
