saturday at naias.com - the north american international auto show

met with my colleague t. at oakland mall's border's bookstore and left my pt cruiser from avis there. him, his friend r. and me drove downtown detroit and parked at the greektown casinos parking structure, took the people mover to the cubu building and entered the naias. the size of that show is impressive - unfortunately i can't compare it to frankfurt's iaa, as i've never been there, but it's surely XL.

the best and most innovative car's in my opinion were:

• Jaguar's XK
• Chrysler's new Imperial concept and Dodge Challenger
• Volkswagen's Touareg "Stanley" that won the DARPA Grand Challenge recently

after 5 hours of walking through 95% of the shows presentations, we had a nice dinner at Niki's Pizza & Greek Favorites. getting back to the hotel around 10:30 pm i was not able to find enough energy around to go back downtown and hit the corktown tavern :(

now it's time to cruise the city for more potential apartments.
